CATARINA CLODE CASQUEIRO - DANCER

Catarina has graduated from the National Conservatory’s Dance School and began her career with a professional internship at the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, in Israel, with a scholarship from Gulbenkian. Later, joined Vórtice Dance Company, touring in Italy, Mexico and Portugal, after that, worked with independent choreographers, like René Vinther - piece "Danish Design", Pedro Ramos - piece " Corpo Anímico", Nélia Pinheiro - piece "Pedra Angular" and Filipa Peraltinha - piece "Hanami".

In partnership with Tiago Coelho, has been developing, since 2018, several creations exploring the countless possibilities of the symbiosis of bodies, the optical illusion and the limits of the physical body, individually and in duet, having, in the last few years, presented their own pieces in several festivals:
• Contemporary dance Festival Almada (Portugal)

• 10 sentidos Festival (Valência, Spain)

• 34th and 35th International Choreography Competition (Hanover, Germany)

• Paralelo Dance Fest (Ponta delgada, Azores)

• SoloDuo (Cologne, Germany) where they won the Audience Award.

In 2021 they were invited by the Dance Company of Almada to create the closing performance of “Quinzena de dança de Almada”, where they premiered “Deux Same”, their last creation. In 2022, Catarina was invited to choreograph a Tv show named “Emília”, with 6 episodes produced by Maria Mayer , that will be showed in the near future, on RTP1.

REBECCA LANZONI - DANCER

Hi! My name is Rebecca Lanzoni and I’m an Italian contemporary dancer.
I started dancing when I was 10, that’s when I fell in love with this art and I never stopped since then. Performing in big and small theaters over the years, I started to develop a particular interest in versatility and expression. I use my dance to learn and expand the way I communicate. To see the world outside and inside my mind, and learn how to say (the things I haven’t said yet) something I still never said. I really enjoy to perform choreographies from other choreographers, but during these last months I found that I also love the creation process so I started to create something mine, I made a Dance Film and a Choreographic Solo titled MetaForma which arrived to the final, the best six, of “Premio Roma Danza XX 2022”. In the future I would also like to improve this more creative part.

I have ballet and contemporary dance background thanks to the Liceo Coreutico, where I got my degree in Contemporary Dance Techniques, and Studio XL, a professional course that trained me as a professional dancer and where I had the opportunity to meet and work with Alice and Florian. Since 2018 I’m a dancer for the company COD Danza (Mantova, Italy) where I have developed a strong cooperative spirit. In this last period I had the opportunity to take part in the artistic residencies of some choreographers like Akira Yoshida, Yankalle Filtser and Giovanni Insaudo. In the past few years I had the opportunity to study many dance stiles, from the ballet world and character dance to the contemporary and hip hop with different dancers and choreographers from all over the world.

MANON BOUQUET - DANCER

Manon began dancing, very young, in a private school in the south of France, where she discovered her love for this art. She trained there in contemporary, modern and classical dance for 13 years, but also internationally, through several workshops.

She leaves the south to discover Paris while she is not major, and immerses herself in her passion daily and professionally.

She began working at a young age on projects such as musicals (Adam&Eve, Robin Hood) that quickly opened doors for her in this commercial environment. She learns on the job, a dance that is not her own but that enriches her with experience, through video clips, TV shows («The Voice, X-factor au Liban, Danse avec les stars, NrjMusicAwards»), dance commercials (Chanel, Kenzo) but also artist tours («My Way Tour» with Matt Pokora, «Brol Tour» with Angèle).

Her constant search for new experiences leads her to choreograph many artists such as Møme, Alice on the roof, Pomme, Seth XVI, Angèle...

Manon joined two new companies, which allowed her to approach dance from a different angle, and to get closer to his true professional desires.

Her integration into Marion Motin’s new troupe «le Grand Sot», allows her to enrich her artistic and human world at a time in her life when sharing real professional and human values became necessary.

ALANA DA SILVA - FILMMAKER

Alana is a Canadian born filmmaker and photographer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. She enjoys documenting things both fantastical and real, enjoys natural light and open flame. This is her second collaboration with FLOCK after “Gloaming”. Learn more about her work: www.alanadasilva.com

FAY VAN BAAR - DANCER

Fay van Baar, a Dutch native, graduated in the Netherlands at the Royal Conservatory with a bachelor’s degree in dance. From there, she joined the pre-professional program at the Kirov academy after receiving a full scholarship. In 2015, she was asked to join NDT as a full-time company member. Fay has worked with numerous world-renowned choreographers such as Paul Lightfoot and Sol Leon, Jiří Kylián, Marco Goecke, Sharon Eyal, Alexander Ekman and many more, creating new work for NDT2 and 1. Besides touring with NDT around the world, she has also created her own work and developed workshops which highlight what she believes is crucial in dance and the performing arts in general: Play, curiosity, creativity and active imagination.

LIANE AUNG - DANCER

Born and raised in Southern California, Liane Aung is currently located in Seattle, WA where she is finishing her sixth season with Whim W’Him Contemporary Dance Company. Liane has had the opportunity to perform and collaborate in original creations with Joseph Hernandez, Ihsan Rustem, Maurya Kerr, Yin Yue, Flockworks Dance, Miceala Taylor, Rena Butler, Penny Saunders, Banning Bouldin, Annabelle Lopez-Ochoa, Danielle Agami, Brendan Duggan, Zoe Scofield and Sidra Bell amoungst others. 

Liane’s freelance career includes collaborations with Yin Yue Dance Company YYDC, Erica Essner Performance Co-Op, founding member of Seattle Dance Collective SDC, KT Neihoff, Entity Contemporary Dance Company, Schoen Movement Company and Flockworks Dance. 

In Southern California, five seasons were spent dancing with Backhausdance where Liane performed original works by Artistic Director Jenny Backhaus.  

Liane is a graduate from the University of California, Irvine receiving her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts Degree in Dance Performance and a minor in Digital Arts. She had the honor to perform and learn legendary works from the late Donald McKayle with UCI’s Etude Ensemble.
